Despite the gloom there was usually a glimpse of hope.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis has a heavily carved original frame in seashell motif.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHis art was in the Salon d’Automne in Paris and he attended the Academies Libres in Montparnasse, France. He exhibited in Paris from 1942 at the Salon d’Automne, where he was appointed a member of the Salon that same year.
