Antique pair of Cellarettes or Liquor Cabinets from England, that were generally custom made wooden chests for storing a small number of alcohol bottles, and the finest silverware. Made from one of the more dependable, strong woods of mahogany. Has a boxwood stringing inlay of oval and floral patterns through the piece; giving it so much character. Has all the original locks and keys; both have side door locks and one of them has a drawer lock as well. One of the cabinets is used for storing silverware, while the other cabinet is used to store liquor. You would often find Cellarettes in dining rooms, or kitchens, as they were the Head Butler's pride and joy. Keeping everything organized and orderly, so you can quickly grab the correct bottle of wine for the evening. The pair of Cellarettes were handcrafted from the finest mahogany and refinished in a traditional French polish.
