A wonderful example of Dutch craftsmanship, this mid-18th century serpentine chest is made entirely in very fine quarter-sawn European white oak with both convex and concave drawers. Very good varnish with original patina. Brass hardware, including escutcheons and keys for the locks, is all original. Excellent piece.
