Antique 18th century French side table or bedside stand. Three drawers, with a marble top with a brass gallery rail and ormolu hardware on the brass appliqués. The piece is of Santos rosewood construction, oak secondary wood, with veneer throughout. The veneer is inlaid with kingwood accents and boxwood stringers. The veneer is crosshatch laid on the sides, back and bottom shelf. Very finely constructed antique piece showing some wear to the veneer on the authentic oak foundation.
