19th century Italian architectural detail. Three cherubs, wonderfully hand-carved in walnut and gesso, topped by a shelf. The shelf is twelve inches deep, while the cherub face protrudes a bit beyond it. Heavy and aged to perfection, with authentic patina throughout.
