Arriving in Paris in circa 1840 Charles-Guillaume Diehl (1811-1885) founded his cabinet making and decoration firm at 16 rue Michel-le-Comte in 1850. His workshops produced elegant furniture in rosewood and thuja and novelties with bronze accents.

Floral motif, working locks and keys, superb inlays.

This table is in excellent condition with minor wear due to its age.
