Item: Miniature 19th Century Chest of Drawers
This early 19th century Georgian Miniature Chest of Drawers would have been constructed by the workshop to show potential clients examples of their products. Made from sturdy mahogany wood, has boxwood lined drawers, raised on shaped braket feet, and accessorized with brass hardware- that has interesting cross hatched designs within the knobs. The pattern within the wood has a beautiful, contrasting golden glow that flows through the deep brown hues of the piece; which gives this miniature chest of drawers a lot of movement. The wood itself is very soft, and smooth to the touch. The entire chest has all of it's original pieces. This would be a great piece to store jewelry and perfumes, be placed on an office desk, or even in a nursery.
